Steve Fredricks graduated from U.C. Davis (U.S.A.) with an individual major of Wine Production Management and Marketing, combining business and fermentation science. He joined Turrentine Brokerage in 1991 as a bulk wine broker. Over the years, he has established himself as an expert in the sales of bulk wine and grapes, understanding market cycles, and building long term relationships. Steve is currently managing all Turrentine Brokerage operations and directly responsible for Turrentine’s international relationships and strategic alliances.
In addition, he also oversees the publishing of the Turrentine Brokerage Collateral Value Report and The Turrentine Outlook. Steve is a frequent speaker at several annual wine industry meetings discussing the bulk wine, grape and international markets.

Janko Pelagic holds an Executive MBA from HEC Paris and joined CIVS in 2009. He was initiated to wine tasting by his mentor, Christian Gardet, and thanks to number of international projects has been able to develop an eclectic palate, used to wines from France, Italy, Spain and California.
He was appointed CEO in 2011 and since then he has been overseeing development of the Company and in charge of strategic alliances and commercial partnerships.
He acts as a strategic advisor to the decision makers and participates in industry reports regarding market conditions and global trends.
Bernard Schürr
Bernard Schürr
Partner, Domaine des Courtilles
Bernard Schürr worked for nearly 30 years in various international wine and spirits companies, managing large wineries and vineyards in Texas for Cordier Estates (Languedoc) and for Treasury Wine Estates.
He has been greatly influenced by New World winemaking techniques, especially those coming from Australia. Thanks to renowned Australian winemakers he learned modern winemaking and blending practices always keeping in mind consumers for the better benefit of his clients’ taste buds.
In 2008 he left the world of large corporations to develop his own company, Domaine des Courtilles.

Patrice Gardet graduated from E.H. Lausanne (Switzerland) and is a Champagne specialist. During the 90’s , he was in charge of several import and distribution companies in the UK and one of the pioneers of “Wine Club” and on-line sales in the British market.
In the years 2000, he takes over the Company’s European portfolio of customers and manages trading operations of grape juice with major companies in that field representing 25% of domestic market.
He secures the relationships with CIVS suppliers and coordinates production and quality control process.
Joan Soler

Winemaker
Winemaker for over 20 years, Joan was Chief Winemaker at Roqueta Group from 1995 to 2009. During this period his wines obtained international recognition (Wine Advocate: Lafou 2007 - 94 points, Abadal Seleccio 2007- 93 points, Blunt Organic 2007- 92 points).
His role consists in maintaining day-to-day follow-up with CIVS producers in Spain and providing winemaking support to our customers.
Besides his role as a President of Pla de Bages Appellation Council, Joan is also serving as a visiting professor at the Faculty of Oenology (The Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona), intervenes as wine consultant in Spanish media and speaks at various conferences related to wine.
Davide Musso
Davide Musso
Wine Supply Italy
Davide Musso attended University of Torino (Italy) and is a 2nd generation of wine brokers from Piedmont. He brings together historical relationships with wine growers and knowledge of each terroir with a great tasting capacity in order to unearth the best wines.
He acts as an advisor to the most renown Barolo Estates and liaise with the producers in different regions of Italy.
Davide participates in wine selection and manages supply contract negotiations.
